Picked this up from <a href="http://informitv.com/articles/2008/03/09/internetvideopoised/">Informitv</a> -who provide advice and consultancy on the future of television and video.Apparently immediately before their <a href="http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2008/mar/14/creditcrunch.useconomy?gusrc=rss&amp;feed=networkfront">share price plummeted </a>to $2 a share and while JP Morgan were waiting in the wings gleefully rubbing their hands, Bear Stearns were publishing a report on how <strong> &#8220;internet video is poised for explosive expansion&#8221;.</strong>  Apparently they are forecasting that 90% of internet users will be watching video online by 2012.</p>
<p>Elsewhere I found another quote from the report saying;</p>
<blockquote><p><em><strong>“We believe that video will be at the very heart of the next five years of web evolution.”</strong></em></p></blockquote>
<p>So, some comfort for Bear Stearns then&#8230; they don&#8217;t seem to have got it all wrong.</p>
