BP - going the extra mile

BP Ultimate Ford S-Max

This project was our first working with Launch Group on behalf of BP. We were introduced by Quentin Willson who was already engaged on consultancy work around BP’s Ultimate brand.

BP wanted a film to demonstrate the benefits of their premium fuel - to lubricate communication you might say! The prime audience were visitors to their exhibition stand at various events around the country, the first of which was the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Time - as usual - was very limited and the bulk of the film was shot in one day at BP’s lubricants technology research centre at Pangbourne. This was supported by some BP library material and some further location shooting we carrtied out a day or two later. A last minute change of script by BP’s legal eagles meant an unscheduled drive up to Quentin Willson’s home in Warwickshire to record a replacement voice over. Launch Group and BP were delighted with the completed film when it hit the screens at Goodwood the following weekend.
